The platformer Cuphead has been a very prominent title for a while, and became a very talked about title at launch. The game is currently available on PC and Xbox One, and no other platforms. That last bit is important because it appears someone published a fake copy of the game on Apple’s iTunes store for the price of $4.99, with the listing using screenshots from the original game as well as trying to make the listing appear it had been put up by developer Studio MDHR, who were quick to put out a warning.
There is a Cuphead imposter app on the iOS store — this is a scam. We are working on removing the fraudulent app ASAP!

While the app appears to be currently unreachable some may get through to the listing. Keep an eye out and do not buy the fake Cuphead game on iOS. If a big title suddenly appears where it wasn’t before check if the developers have confirmed the release, or it could be a scam.
