It’s been nearly five years since Microsoft announced that 343 Industries and film director Steven Spielberg would be working on a Halo TV series. Originally it was supposed to be available on Xbox One but then ShowTime snapped up the rights for TV broadcast. Ever since then there hasn’t been any real development on production, with no confirmed cast list or even a leaked script.
However according to ShowTime CEO David Nevens the Halo show is very much happening, and it will apparently please fans of the franchise as well as fans of TV dramas going by the scripts seen so far. But we’re no closer to a potential release date yet, and I’m going to guess this show won’t be airing until the next decade if ever.
