We got our hands on the upcoming Shadow of the Colossus remake a few days ago, with Bluepoint’s ground up recreation of the PlayStation 2 classic set for release on 6th February. We’ll have our full review new week, but here and now we can show you the game in action.
In particular, we’re demonstrating the first Colossus battle in Performance mode on PS4 Pro, with the game running at 1080p and a solid 60fps from what we can see. The other option is a dynamic 4K at 30fps in Cinematic mode, which becomes 1440p supersampled for 1080p TVs.

Wow, I thought it looked good on the PS2 but this is spectacular!

This really snuck up on me. I’d almost forgotten this was coming, and now it’s only a couple of weeks away.
Not sure if I’ll be playing this again but it looks very impressive. Looking forward to the review.

Dear lord, that looks good. Cannot wait!

Wow, that looks pretty great – much better than I thought it would.
I best get my act together and play the original before this comes out.

Why do you need to play the original?

I guess it’s so I can appreciate the improvements. It would have been cool if you could switch between the two versions like the Master Chief collection.
I do the same whenever a movie is remade. Always have to watch the originals first.
It’s not really necessary – I’m just weird.

Ah, I see. Yep. Weird but I get it. You enjoy, fella. :-)
