Job Listing Suggests That Bluepoint Are “Remaking Another Classic Game”

A job listing for a Senior General Engineer at Bluepoint Games has revealed that the developer is working on another remake of classic video game. Bluepoint are behind the remake of Shadow of the Colossus, which is out today, and have also ported the three PS3 Uncharted games, Gravity Rush, and Flower, to PS4.

They have also ported the Metal Gear Solid collection, Ico, and God of War titles from PS2 to PS3. Suffice to say they know PlayStation games and work for Sony a lot, so the the chances are that the next classic remake will be another Sony title. What that title might be is rather difficult to guess, many PS3 icons are already, or arriving shortly, on PS4; Ratchet & Clank, God of War, The Last of Us, Uncharted, Killzone, and Wipeout have all been done, so what’s left?

Jak & Daxter or Medieval might be a safe bet, but what about a Resistance or Motorstorm collection? Of course it might not be Sony and Bluepoint may be beavering away on that port of Burnout Paradise that EA still haven’t announced.

Which game would you like Bluepoint to bring to PS4? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Speaking of remakes, what the hell happened to that REmake of Resi Evil 2 that was announced 15 years ago?

As for this project, I’m kinda hoping it’s either Xmen Origins Wolverine or Prince of Persia (2008). Absolutely loved PoP 2008. Can’t believe they never made a sequel. Xmen Origins Wolverine was such a satisfying Wolverine game. Leaping from dude to dude and ripping them to shreds with your adamantium claws. They should have made a sequel when Logan came out. Gameplay was flawless.

    • RE 2 Should be out this year. There has been quite a few articles about it on n4g recently.

    • Wolverine wont happen, Acti lost the license
