Kotaku are reporting that they have heard from multiple sources that a collection of remastered Spyro the Dragon games are in production. Vicarious Visions, the studio which remade the Crash Bandicoot trilogy, are said to working on the remaster which will include three games, Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage!, and Year of the Dragon.
It is said the game will launch in Q3 this year around the time of Spyro’s 20th birthday and, like the Crash Bandicoot game, it will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 for a year and then will be ported to other systems for release in 2019.
The games will include new assets, a remixed soundtrack, improved lighting and it is hinted that they may contain extra features or levels that were cut from the original games.

Well I’ve continuously heard people mention this game, but never seen it until now… Maybe I’m getting old but it looks like a toddlers game for girls. Take the wings off Spyro, and it may as well be a My Little Pony game judging by the look of it.

Nah man this game is super macho :D
Spyro gets meaner the the later games – I think he was a drug dealing pimp in the last one!
