The Evil Within 2 Patched So You Can Play The Entire Game In First Person

Extra evil

When The Evil Within 2 launched a small portion of the game was playable in first person mode and fans asked the developers if it was possible to enable the mode for the entire game. Tango Gameworks have been beavering away and have granted the request with the latest free update for the game.

The mode can be toggled on and off in the menu so you can pick when to use it, but the game will switch back to third person on occasion. ” There were some scenes that just didn’t work, so it jumps back and forth a bit to third-person,” said Producer Shinsaku Ohara. “But we made sure the game’s an enjoyable experience and hopefully people will enjoy playing in this mode.”

The game has a free trial on all formats, and will also be on sale until February 19th on PC, and 20th for consoles.

I’m in a small minority here, but this was my goty last year. Absolutely loved this game

Hmm now I have a decision to make. Just got this recently. Not overly excited about playing it to be honest because I thought the first one was shite. I’ve heard some good things about this though so thought I’d give it a whirl. I’ll probably play third person first.

Started playing this last night and the character movements feel so odd. I think this is probably deliberate (to make you feel uncomfortable) but it feels so clunky. I hope I get used to it.
