PSVR Gets A Temporary $100 Price Cut In The U.S.A., Viveport Gets A Price Increase

It’s swings and roundabouts for VR fans with one system getting a price cut and another having a price increase. The incredibly popular PlayStation VR deal that ran around Christmas is back with $100 slashed from the price, with the offer running from Sunday, February 18th through to Saturday, March 3rd.

  • PS VR standalone headsets and bundles will start at $199.99 MSRP (regularly $299.99 MSRP)
  • PlayStation VR Doom VFR Bundle, which comes with a PlayStation VR headset, PlayStation Camera, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0 and the Doom VFR Blu-ray Disc is now $299.99 MSRP (regularly $399.99 MSRP).
  • PlayStation VR Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Bundle,  Which includes the PS VR headset, PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0 and Skyrim VR is now $349.99 MSRP (regularly $449.99 MSRP).

Meanwhile the monthly price of a Viveport Subscription will increase from $6.99 to $8.99 on March 22nd, but if you sign up now you will continue to pay the regular price of $6.99 per month, even after March 22nd. The service now has over 375 titles on offer and you can play up to five games a month.
