If your children can’t get enough of Fortnite Battle Royale and you are unwilling to do actual parenting then good news, you will soon be able to use the game as a babysitter even when you’re not at home!
Epic have announced that the full Battle Royale mode will be landing on iOS with the same gameplay, the same map, same content, and the same weekly updates found it’s bigger brother. The Android version will be out at a later date.
You’ll still be able to play against your friends as Epic have revealed that “in partnership with our friends at Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and eventually Android. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together.”
You can sign up for an invite to the game on Monday from the Fortnite website, but you will need iOS 11 on at least an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad 2017 devices.

Very impressive. How are we supposed to control the game though? It’s been a few years since I looked into iOS controllers, are we still stuck with bespoke hardware or can we pair up our console controllers now?

I hope they make it so you can opt out. PS4 controller vs keyboard and mouse… Controller will nearly always lose.
