Ride 3 Officially Announced, Out In November

Everything leaks these days, and a third entry in Milestone’s Ride series has now been confirmed after popping up on Amazon yesterday. Ride 3 is coming out this year on 8th November for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

One of Milestone’s cornerstone series, as their biggest self-created IP, Ride is a celebration of all things on two wheels, similar in concept to Gran Turismo. So there’s a mixture of country and city circuits alongside road races, drag races and, of course, GP and Supermoto tracks.

As with all their latest titles, it’s being built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 4, making use of this engine to do new things like add night races to the game for the first time. There’s 230 bikes divided into seven categories, and over 500 bike parts to let you customise your ride. The game will also sport 30 tracks, 12 of which are new to the series and using drone scanning to capture them as accurately as possible.

But what about the ‘Naked’ option from Amazon’s leak? Well there’s no mention of riding in the buff in the press release, but connecting the dots, I’d put my money on it being being one of the seven bike categories.

I'm probably wearing toe shoes, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!

  1. I make that four bike games all from the same developer within the same year!

    • Yup, and with Gravel as well, Milestone are churning out a staggering five games this year. It’s pretty crazy.

  2. I’m pretty sure Naked bikes are the sexy bikes ;)
Ride 2 was a great attempt at a spiritual successor to Tourist Trophy so I’m hopeful for Ride 3.
