One of the most widely acclaimed RPGs from last year, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the Definitive Edition release on 31st August. If the headline on this article is eerily familiar, it’s because they announced an August release two months ago, and have now narrowed it down to the very last day of the month!
Similarly to the first game’s journey from PC to console, the Definitive Edition isn’t just a port, but reconsiders some aspects of the main game. In this case, it will bring a party inventory system, a new journal system, improved tutorials, and updated PvP area and a new Story Mode difficulty, which addresses the high natural difficulty of the game. The entire third chapter of the game has also been rewritten. These changes will be free to PC players.
Xbox One players can already sample these changes with the free trial and Xbox Game Preview release, but trust us, this is a damn fine game.

Then you are in for a treat. The new one makes the old one look slightly average in comparison even though it’s still great. However, D:OS 2 is sublime.
