The Yakuza series has grown in stature a great deal over the last few years, with the releases of Yakuza 0, the Kiwami remake of the original and 6 in relatively quick succession. Now it’s Yakuza Kiwami 2’s turn, coming out on 28th August, but if you can’t wait quite that long, then I have good news for you:

Of course, we all remember what happened last time Sega released a Yakuza game demo, but chances are this one won’t unlock the entire game by mistake
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of the second game in the series on the Dragon Engine from Yakuza 6, which was designed specifically and solely with the PS4 in mind. Along the way, Sega have tweaked the game to improve a few minor quests to flow better and updated the localisation to be truer to the original release. It picks up one year after the first game with Kiryu a rather different man.
