Winter sports fans with a Switch, disappointment looms for you as Ubisoft have confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version of Steep is no longer in production. The game was originally announced for Switch in January 2017 but since then we’ve not seen so much as a screen shot of the Nintendo version.
The cancellation was announced rather quietly via Twitter.
Hey @RJISAGAMER! We are wholly dedicated to supporting the live game, and made the decision to stop Steep development on the Nintendo Switch platform to focus on bringing new live content and challenges to Steep players instead. We’ll have more exciting news to share soon.

The good news for Switch owners is that you are getting Child of Light and Valiant Hearts instead, and they’re much better games.
