Netflix have stated that they are still planning on a creating a Stranger Things game even though Telltale Games have collapsed.
“We are saddened by news about Telltale Games,” Netflix said in a statement to Polygon. “They developed many great games in the past and left an indelible mark in the industry. Minecraft: Story Mode is still moving forward as planned. We are in the process of evaluating other options for bringing the Stranger Things universe to life in an interactive medium.”
Thanks to a few leaks we can see what the Telltale version of Stranger Things would have looked like, including a clip of the Demogorgon and a suitably wide-eyed Winona Ryder.
