Path Of Exile Announced For PS4, Here’s The Trailer

With all the furore surrounding Blizzard and Diablo Immortal, it would have been easy to miss the announcement that Path of Exile-  a free-to-play Action RPG – is finally making its way from PC to PS4. This news would have been a shame to miss, as with up to five players being able to work together co-operatively, Path of Exile certainly looks like it could scratch that Diablo itch. There’s seven character classes to choose from; with a promise of deep character customisation, visceral combat and item crafting. One spell even sees the caster summon a plethora of firey balls to bounce joyfully across the screen – who could possibly want for more?

Here’s the trailer:

  1. That’s good news then. Tried the PC version years ago and it’s lots of fun. F2P done properly (cosmetic items and extra character slots, should you really want them). And the most ridiculous skill tree ever. Slotting gems into the endless supply of loot for active skills, and carefully selecting the right passive skills from a massive tree of 1325 possibilities.

I suspect a lot of people run away when faced with a skill tree like that.

Anyone know how good a job they did on the XBone version last year?

    • It does look good, i’m just wondering how grindy it might be compared to regular – quite grindy – Diablo!
