Warner Bros. made a big fuss out of their Mortal Kombat 11 reveal last night, showcasing the gameplay, new and returning fighters, the story and how they plan to make this the most immersive game in the series yet. Check out the gameplay trailer here:
So, what are the cliff notes? Well, the story mode will feature a time-bending plot featuring Kronika, the first female boss character who is the Keeper of Time, and there’s a new fighter Geras, who is her lackey and borrows some of her time-bending abilities. Lining up in the roster are Baraka, Raiden, Skarlet, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Sonya Blade, who is now voice by controversial UFC and WWE star Ronda Rousey.
The game is due out on 23rd April, but if you want to play the game early, you can get in on the beta from 28th March by pre-ordering. Warner are also keeping Shao Kakn back as a pre-order bonus character.
