One character has so far been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11’s DLC character roster, and that is one of the series’ main antagonist Shang Tsung. Players of the game are no doubt anticipating who will join the sorcerer on the DLC roster and whether they’ll be some fan favourites from rosters past or new characters including guest characters. Remember Injustice 2, another NetherRealm franchise, had a lot of guest characters including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so there’s no limit on who could be added, bar licensing obviously.
Ed Boon, NeatherRealm’s creative director put out a Tweet stating that if things well then the next DLC characters could be announced within the next week. Who do you want to see?

The Mortal Kombat 11 review by Miquel had some positive and negative points in it with Miquel summarising that “This game is the pinnacle of Mortal Kombat action. Unfortunately, that tightly-designed gameplay is bogged down by a grindy system of loot and consumables that only serves to artificially extend your playtime in the most tedious ways imaginable.”
One such area of criticism was the Towers of Time which were basically an incessant grind, though NetherRealm has since made them easier to get through.
