Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is finally coming!

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is actually a real thing, and it’s coming out this year!

Even better is the fact that anyone can play it, with the game arriving simultaneously on Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The visual quality looks pretty good, though it’s overall something of a surprise thanks to long-rumoured loss of the original source code. Perhaps it was just hearsay, or Square Enix have been able to reverse engineer the game, but either way you won’t have too long to wait before you can save the world with Squall.

    Any idea if this game with have the same boosts as the VII and IX remaster? The speed boost, no encounters, god mode, etc?
