Devil’s Hunt release date confirmed for this September

1C Entertainment has confirmed that its take on the war between angels and demons will be out next month as the Devil’s Hunt release date has been put down as September 17th. That is for PC via Steam at least. Devil’s Hunt is also confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One but will not be launching until 2020. That also applies for the now confirmed Switch version which will also be released in 2020 alongside the other console releases. To mark the announcement a new trailer has been released.

Talking about the delay 1C Entertainment stated:

Originally slated to launch simultaneously across all platforms, the decision to shift Devil’s Hunt’s console launches into early 2020 was not one that was made lightly. Both 1C Entertainment and developer Layopi Games made the decision in order to ensure the game’s PC debut has the polish and commitment to quality befitting an extravagant third person action game where players fight their way through Hell, Jerusalem, and… Miami?

The plot of Devil’s Hunt puts players in the shoes of Desmond who has made a deal with the devil to gain access to demonic powers. However, this deal has meant that Desmond has been dragged into the war between angels and demons, so Desmond will have to travel to locations like Jerusalem, Hell, and his town of Miami. He’ll have to fight both angels and demon forces as he advances through the story to keep some kind of balance. The story itself is based upon the Polish novel Equilibrium by PaweÅ‚ LeÅ›niak.
