PlayStation UK hint that they really like a classic Sugababes track

The Internet is on fire this morning with the news that the PlayStation UK Twitter account are really, really big fans of the Sugababes. A few hours ago they tweeted a couple of emojis that represented a hand pressing a button.

Clearly this can only mean one thing: They bloody love “Push the Button” by the Sugababes! Yass queen! The song was the first single from the ‘Babes fourth album, Taller In More Ways, and went on to become of of the group’s most successful singles. The lyrics refer to an encounter with an unnamed artist that group member Keisha Buchanan developed an infatuation with, and the tune soon topped the charts in the UK and Ireland and was a massive smash hit across Europe.

We have reached out to PlayStation UK to find out if they have any other pop banger recommendations.

We should point out that other, less informed individuals are somehow linking the images of a button being pressed to The Last of Us Part 2 or a PlayStation State of Play broadcast. How they have jumped to that conclusion we cannot fathom.

However, rumours abound that Shuhei Yoshida, President of Worldwide Studios, Sony Interactive Entertainment, is a massive pop queen and regularly dons pink leggings, presses play on a massive boom box, and recreates the entire video to Maddona’s bop “Hung Up” by prancing around Sony HQ.
