Devil May Cry 3 slashes its way to Switch in February

Dante and Vergil will once again be jumping over to the Nintendo Switch as their battle’s origins are laid out with confirmation that Devil May Cry 3 will be available on the console from February 20th. It will cost$19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99. While it was the third game released in the series Devil May Cry 3 is a prequel to all of the other games (except DmC which was its own thing in a different universe). Vergil will be a playable character and the game will feature 9,999 levels of the Bloody Palace mode.

Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2 are already available on the Switch. Maybe we could see Devil May Cry 4 or DmC make the jump as well in the future. Things are quiet again on the Devil May Cry front after it was confirmed that all development on Devil May Cry 5 was finished meaning there would be no story DLC being released for the title.

If you’re yet to experience Devil May Cry 5 here’s what Nick thought of it in his review:

Hideaki Itsuno, my hat goes off to you and your crew. It’s only March, and yet Devil May Cry 5 is another clear Game of the Year contender. The silly arguments on whether the original DMC or DmC is better can stop now, because DMC5 is here and it’s bloody brilliant. This is a proper return to form for the series, something that fans of both can get behind.
