Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be getting 3v3 Gunfight

Infinity Ward has announced in its first community update of 2020 that it is working on a new 3v3 Gunfight mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and also is working to add more loadout slots for players to use. The developers are also working on bring Gunfight tournaments back but still working on removing some bugs before rolling that out. Infinity Ward has stated it wants to be more open with how development is going on updates, and so has made a publicly accessible Trello board where people can check progress, as well as access the latest patch and maintenance notes.

Infinity Ward has confirmed some of the major issues it is tracking within Modern Warfare, and most of those are listed below. One that isn’t on the list is a PC issue where some players are using an auto-aim to cheat, and it has been confirmed that it will be addressed in a future update.

  • Lighting flickering on various maps
  • Mission collision on containers on Cargo
  • Platinum skins not unlocking properly
  • Out of map exploits in Ground War
  • Platinum and Damascus camos glare while ADS

In addition, the studio has confirmed there will be some maintenance on Monday, January 13th, regarding the leaderboards.

We will be performing maintenance on leaderboards beginning at 10PM PST until 12PM PST. During this time, leaderboards might appear blank or inaccurate while maintenance is being done. Please note that there will be no loss of data once completed.

It’s worth checking out the Trello board for full details to see what Infinity Ward is currently prioritizing.
