Epic Games has confirmed that the free games will continue to flow on the Epic Games Store throughout 2020, with at least one free game being given away each week. The annoucement came as Epic Games confirmed figures of how many people are using the Epic Games Store and how much was spent by players. According to Epic 108 million PC players have used the store and spent $680 million so far, with $251 million of that spend on third party games.
73 games were given away and they were claimed over 200 million times. The total value of those games was $1455. Unsurprisingly the US made up the largest part of the market share with 17.24% of users coming from there. Russia was second with 10.15%, and China in third at 8.36%. The most popular games included World War Z, The Outer Worlds, Untitled Goose Game, Dauntless, Borderlands 3, Control, Metro Exodus, and The Division 2.
You can check out all the details here. Currently Sundered is the free title available on Epic Games Store and it will be followed up by Horace.
