Crytek has revealed it is partnering with Koch Media to publish Hunt: Showdown on consoles, and has confirmed that the multiplayer title will be released on PS4 on February 18th. The game was released last year for PC and Xbox One. In Hunt: Showdown teams work together to hunt down monsters for bounties but every team is also looking to take the other to claim the bounty for themselves.
Along with the PS4 release date Crytek also revealed details of what players should expect in update 1.2 for Hunt: Showdown. This includes teams of three that are randomised, more Legendary Hunters, a new tutorial, new weapons, and new equipment. There will also be fixes to CPU performance, server improvements, and other bug fixes. Post update 1.2 Crytek will be working to add cross play between PS4 and Xbox One, a new map, more customisation options, live events, and a solo PvE mode for those who want to hunt alone.
