Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is out now on Switch

CD Projekt RED has announced that The Witcher spin-off Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is now available to buy on the Nintendo Switch. Thronebreaker doesn’t follow the story of Geralt however. Instead, players take on the role of Meve, Queen of the Northern Realms Lyria and Rivia. Unsurprisingly, Nilfgaard has decided to invade the lands and so Meve must go on a journey to rally allies and an army to defend the lands.

Thronebreake: The Witcher Tales is a mix of an RPG where Meve travels across the land and does exploring, and card battles similar to those found in Gwent. Much of the large scale battles are carried out that way. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is already available to get on PC, PS4, and Xbox One as it released on those platforms back in 2018.

On Switch, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is priced at £16.99.
