Assassin’s Creed Syndicate confirmed as next Epic Games Store free title

Epic Games has confirmed which games players will be able to redeem for completely free later this week on the Epic Games Store. The first of those titles is a card-based strategy title called Faeria with its store description stating:

With its unique living board, Faeria will challenge you with truly strategic card battles. Craft your deck, shape the battlefield, and fight for victory!
A strategy game like no other. Build exciting decks and shape the battlefield as you fight epic battles. Raise mountains, build forests, fill lakes, or harness the sands of the deserts. You choose your own path to victory.
The second game is a much bigger affair. Head to Victoria era London with the Frye twins as Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be the second game being given away from Thursday. In our review for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Gareth wrote:

Ultimately, Syndicate comes off as another Assassin’s Creed game with a handful of improvements. London is beautiful if a bit laborious to travel around, and the missions are repetitive, but this doesn’t make Syndicate bad by any stretch of the imagination. It’s still a good game, it just hasn’t made a significant step up over the previous instalment. If you are a fan of Assassin’s Creed, or you think you might be, then Syndicate comes as recommended as any other AC. It likely won’t convert people who dislike the series, but it won’t lose any who are still interested in it, either.

With the games resetting on Thursday that leaves only two days to get the current offerings. Those offerings are Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez.
