With the PC version of Death Stranding locked in for a June 2nd release, Hideo Kojima has taken to teasing a photo mode for the game on Twitter. It seems that the mode will be in the PC version of the game from the off, but he also seems to suggest that it could be coming to PlayStation 4 via an update.
Introducing how to use DEATH STRANDING PC version Photo Mode. It’s still under development but i think you can see the idea of how the process goes. I may consider this feature as an update, since there’re many requests from Sam’s in the world.

Everyone loves a good photo mode, and it seems that Death Stranding’s will largely match the feature set found in dozens of other games out there. The video he shared showed off the ability to move the camera around, exclude Sam from the diorama or change his and BB’s poses and expressions, fiddle with the aperture, exposure, focus, depth of field, contrast, and slap some filters on the image. Oh, and you can obviously give it a Death Stranding watermark.
Here’s some example shots made by his team:

And he also demonstrated what the game will look like on an Ultrawide PC monitor.
Ultra Wide Mode in DEATH STRANDING PC version will allow more horizontal perspective. Images specifically created to fill what’s typically be the black border surrounding gameplay. The UI of Sam’s equipment will be shown at the left corner of the screen.https://t.co/TxRuNL91u2 pic.twitter.com/ciP2ai3w2J

In our Death Stranding review Tuffcub wrote:
Death Stranding is like nothing I have ever played; beautiful, heart racing, heart breaking, frustrating, epic, stunning, and utterly nuts. I laughed, I cried, I cursed, and I went to the toilet an awful lot. Death Stranding isn’t just my Game of the Year, it’s a contender for Game of the Generation too.
