One of the many games featured in today’s Indie World stream from Nintendo, Blue Fire is an action-packed adventure asking you to slash and platform through a forgotten kingdom. The game is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch this summer.
Coming from Graffiti Games and Robi Studios, Blue Fire takes you to the desolate kingdom of Penumbra. Here you’ll explore temples, encounter survivors, and take on their quests to grab valuable items. However, lurking behind Penumbra is The Void, with entrances to this place filled with abstract platforming challenges tucked throughout the game world.
There’s a particularly acrobatic style to the game, with plenty of flipping through the air, double jumping, wall jumping and air dashing to help you get around. There’s also a fair bit of combat with plenty of dangers to try and avoid or defeat, and swords, amulets and new abilities to discover and unlock to turn your character into a fierce fighter.
With stylish minimalist graphics and plenty of challenge, Blue Fire is sure to be one to look out for this summer.
