Square Enix is doing its part to make sure people stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic to reduce the spread of the virus, and the way it is doing that is to give a couple of games away for free on PC. Those games are the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider and the more classic styled Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. The games are redeemable either directly from Square Enix who will provide a Steam code to redeem, or you can go directly to Steam and add the games to your account. The links are below.
If you have not played either of these games you can check out what we thought of Temple of Osiris in our review, as it appears our Tomb Raider review has kind of vanished into the ether for now. I’m sure we’ll find it again. In the Osiris review Dom wrote:
“Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is not a bad game, it’s just not a great one. The singleplayer game brings nothing new to the franchise, and in some ways even feels like a step backwards from Guardian Of Light. As a multiplayer game it takes on a different and welcome dimension, though for every great moment, you can expect equal frustration.”
