The Long Dark joins Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, Gato Roboto, Deliver Us The Moon and more coming through April

A fistful of new games are being sprinkled across the library of Xbox Game Pass through the rest of April, starting with exploration-survival game The Long Dark tomorrow, Thursday 16th April. That’s followed next week by Gato Roboto and Deliver Us The Moon, while HyperDot and Levelhead round out the month. Three of these games are Day One with Xbox Game Pass titles.

The Long Dark you play as a crashed pilot stranded in the Canadian wilderness, battling the cold, scarcity of resources and hungry wolves. Though it wasn’t personally our favourite game, The Long Dark has picked up a healthy following through its Kickstarter campaign and Early Access period. Hinterland Studio have built upon those initial foundations with three parts of a five part story released so far.

Perhaps Deliver Us The Moon will draw your attention, as this game launches into Game Pass on day one. Evoking sci fi thrillers like Gravity, you’ll be blasting off into space to try and discover what befell the lunar colony that was staving off the energy crisis back on Earth.

Or there’s the quirky feline metroidvania of Gato Roboto, the minimalist arcade action of HyperDot, and the ‘build, play, share’ platformer making of Levelhead.

The end of the month will also see 10 games leaving the service, including some pretty big titles in the form of Fallout 4 and Wolfenstein: The New Order. You’ve got until 30th April to try and finish them off, or you can snap them up with Game Pass’ 10% discount, or just try to find them in a sale. They’re all quite regularly discounted anyway.

Those games are:

  • The Banner Saga 2
  • Bomber Crew
  • Braid
  • Fallout 4
  • Full Metal Furies
  • Metal Slug 3
  • Ruiner
  • Silence: The Whispered World 2
  • Smoke and Sacrifice
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order

Make sure to finish them off while you still can!
