Call of Duty: Modern Warfare patch addresses Warzone invincibility bug, anti-cheat measures updated

A brand new patch has been rolled out for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which fixes a few issues, and on of those is the rare glitch where players would be invincible after being revived. There was also an issue regarding weapon blueprints that have been created in Game Battles and then those weapons being available as usable options in both regular multiplayer as well as Warzone. That is no longer possible either with the latest patch. The patch notes are brief and you can give them a quick read below.

  • Fixed a bug where players were able to use Game Battles to make custom weapon blueprints that they can then use in MP or Warzone.
  • Upon picking up a dropped Renetti, the initial raise audio would be heard globally. This has been fixed.
  • Fix for an invincibility exploit after reviving a teammate in Warzone
  • Fixed a bug where two watches would be seen on the wrist of the CTSFO 1 Mil-Sim Operator

Warzone has been getting a few changes recently with the addition of a Quads mode and some changes to the Trios mode, which was removed and added back after quite a bit of backlash from the community. A new update to tackle cheating is also being pushed out by Infinity Ward which will see players who are suspected of cheating being put together thanks to new matchmaking changes.

The update will also give players confirmation when a reported cheater is banned from the game, and there will be more ways to report through killcam and spectate mode
