Last month, E-Line Media released Beyond Blue on Apple Arcade and stated that the game would be released on PC and consoles in June. Today, the company has confirmed that the new date for the release of Beyond Blue will be June 11th and that will be for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, during World Ocean’s Week. A Nintendo Switch version has also been confirmed but no date has been given.A new trailer showcasing the Beyond Blue Ocean Insights feature has also been released. Ocean Insights are 16 mini documentaries that are in the game, and they give insight about the Western Pacific using footage from Blue Planet II and interviews with scientists.

I’m not a marine biologist, and I’ve never gone diving before, but in just a half-hour Beyond Blue managed to show me just what kind of natural beauty I was missing out on in the deep blue sea. While the objectives and gameplay were simple, that simplicity contributed to a zen-like underwater experience that I didn’t want to leave.
