During Guerrilla Collective Kevin Smith introduced some new gameplay for the upcoming 2D sidescrolling fighter Jay & Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch. The game has been in development for quite a few years and it is expected to release on PC, though a date is yet to be confirmed. Interabang is the development team behind the game, and you can watch the gameplay below.
Below is the reason why Interabang decided to make this game about Jay & Silent Bob:
We think Kevin’s movies are irreverently dope. During the design of our first game, we often watched the movies back-to-back like Drake post-Degrassi. The iconic characters, hilarious dialogue, and the sheer surreality of the Askew-niverse got us through the rough patches of development hell and life’s struggles. We cut our teeth in combat-based game development and always thought it would be amazing to see Jay and Silent Bob in a game like the ones we make. We often wondered, “Why hasn’t anybody done this game yet?”
Anyone who pre-orders Jay & Silent Bob Chronic Blunt Punch will get the 8-bit brawler Mall Brawl for free.

I used to be a huge J&SB fan, I’m not a fan of side-scrolling brawlers but I’ve got to be honest if this is half decent, has some immature quips and has Cock Knocker as a boss then I’ll definitely be getting it.
