Genshin Impact developers miHoyo have shared some details surrounding update 1.3, answering questions from the player community.
We haven’t got a solid release date for Genshin Impact update 1.3 though this recent Q&A with the studio sheds light on some of the features and improvements we can expect.
First and foremost, those playing the popular free-to-play action RPG on iOS and Android devices will be able to sync a number of compatible wireless controllers via Bluetooth:
The developers have heard your cries — from Version 1.3 onwards, devices that have had their operating systems upgraded to iOS 14 or higher will now support the Xbox Wireless Controller (Bluetooth Version), Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controller, and MFi (Made for iOS) Bluetooth controllers (partial support)!
Another improvement mobile players can look forward to is the option to pre-install future Genshin Impact updates. This feature will arrive ahead of update 1.3, reducing those waiting times as you the game downloads resources following new patches.
miHoYo also address a number of more specific Genshin Impact topics in their Q&A which you can read in full here.
Genshin Impact was one of our favourite RPGs of 2019 and one that has found a thriving global fanbase. Miguel reviewed the game at launch on PlayStation 4, awarding Genshin Impact an 8 out of 10 – here’s what he had to say:
Genshin Impact needs to be played to be believed. This is an addictive open-world adventure with gorgeous art and unique combat…and it’s free! The character designs are sharp and beautiful, while the pastel-style world itself is full of jaw-dropping colour and natural vistas…and it’s free! Sure, there’s the admittedly stingy gacha system, but if you just want an immersive and peaceful world to climb and fly around in for hours, then Genshin Impact is for you.
