Upcoming open-world Marvel RPG, Marvel Future Revolution, will feature playable characters from across the comic book universe with appearances from both the Avengers and X-Men.

Announced in March 2020, Marvel Future Revolution is the first ever Marvel open-world RPG and will be coming to mobile devices though a release date or information on beta testing has yet to be revealed by Netmarble. It’s likely the game will be mobile-exclusive, so don’t be surprised if Future Revolution doesn’t appear on PC and consoles.

Here’s what we know from the game’s announcement:

[Marvel Future Revolution is] fully-realized in a 3D open world with AAA quality graphics, a massive scale and unique freedom of play. This new collaboration between both companies will offer very special experiences as gamers and Marvel fans will assume the roles of various versions of Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange among other Super Heroes and set foot in an enormous open universe with iconic merged locations like Xandearth, Sakaar and more to explore.

Written by Marvel Comics writer Marc Sumerak (Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, etc.), MARVEL Future Revolution starts with numerous Earths converging across all dimensions to form an entirely-new ‘Primary Earth’. As an agent of the newly formed ‘Omega Flight’ Super Hero team, players will work together to battle an onslaught of Super Villains, confront their suspicious behaviours and defend the universe.

We’ll likely be hearing more about the game’s growing roster of playable characters as we approach its upcoming gameplay reveal.
