UFC 4 and Farming Simulator 19 are the headline titles coming to Xbox Game Pass this month.
Microsoft have announced their July lineup for the popular game subscription service. They also revealed which games are coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming (Project xCloud) as well as Game Pass on PC.
Here are the new games you can expect, and when they’ll make an appearance:
- Dragon Quest Builders 2 (Cloud) – July 8
- Tropico 6 (Cloud, Console, and PC) [email protected] – July 8
- UFC 4 (Console) EA Play – July 8
- Bloodroots (Cloud, Console, and PC) [email protected] – July 15
- Farming Simulator 19 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – July 15
- The Medium (Cloud) [email protected] – July 15
Meanwhile, those who have previously played Plague Tale: Innocence on Xbox Game Pass will be able to upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S version. Note that you’ll need to update the Xbox One version to transfer your save data over.
With the arrival of UFC 4, older games in the EA Sports series are waving farewell to the service with UFC and UFC 2 leaving in July.
EA picked up the UFC license following the downfall of THQ who had previously published the UFC Undisputed series. UFC 4 can definitely be seen as the culmination of their efforts to recreate the brutal sport in video game form. When the sequel launched last year, Aran scored UFC 4 a sublime 9/10:
“UFC 4 is an evolution over UFC 3. A much better and more cohesive online, a better system for advancing your created fighters, a career mode that has a bit more depth, and gameplay that opens up the series to more people, makes UFC 4 the game that UFC 3 should have been.”
Xbox Game Pass continues to go from strength to strength. While PlayStation Now is slowly building a superb catalogue of games on PS4 and PS5, Microsoft promise their subscribers access to all current and future first party exclusives.
