Ubisoft has announced that the Riders Republic beta will be taking place between August 23 to August 25th. Pre loading for the beta will be available August 21st. The beta itself will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The sign ups for the beta are available through the official Riders Republic website. Three careers will be available on the beta and those are Bike Races, Snow Tricks and Air Sports.
The Riders Republic multiplayer details are below:
- Mass Races: The crazier the better in these epic, multisport races with more than 50 players*. New races appear randomly on the map every hour, so players will need to get ready to watch their blind spots, protect their position and remain agile with their skills as they fight their way to the finish line.
- Tricks Battle: Compete in 6v6 matchups and try to land as many tricks as possible on the various modules to capture them and earn points. The team with the highest score wins.
- Free for All: Challenge new opponents and show them how it’s done through a select playlist of events.
- Versus Mode: Players can join up with friends in their career progression and see who’s the very best.
Riders Republic was announced back in September 2020, as a successor to Ubisoft Annecy’s previous game, Steep. The game is all about creating a huge free roam world for you to play around in, mashing together iconic American national parks including Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia Park, Zion, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain and Grand Teton.
You’ll be able to take on a number of different modes of transport, from wingsuit-gliding, to snowboarding on the peaks, dirt biking through the canyons, and more. That will all be wrapped up in downhill races, team competitions online, or simply massive 50-player PvP races. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game will run at 60FPS while simultaneously displaying 50 players on screen. The career will reward pretty much everything you do, tracking tricks through to just finding some nice views. All the game’s events are playable in PvP, co-op or solo.
Riders Republic will release on 2nd September 2021 across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Stadia and Luna.
