The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is set to be released in September

The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero will be released on September 27th, NIS America has confirmed. The platforms are PC, PS4 with it being playable on PS5, and Switch. The game was originally released for the PSP in 2010 as a Japan exclusive, before being released in 2011 on PC in China. An updated PS Vita version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero was then released in 2012, again in Japan only, and then ported to PS4 in 2020. The game is already available on Switch in Asia.

The description for The Legends of Heroes: Trails from Zero says: “Welcome to Crossbell, where culture, commerce, and dreams collide. However, beneath its pristine surface, the city-state hides a darker side teeming with crimes and secrets. What dangers await Lloyd and his comrades within the unknown reaches of Crossbell?”

This game is the first in the Crossbell arc with the sequel The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure making up the second part of the arc. The main protagonist of the game is Lloyd Bannings, a rookie detective who works for the Crossbell Police Force, following in the steps of his brother who was killed while on duty as a detective. Lloyd joins the Special Support Section and, along with his team, is tasked with tackling the corruption in Crossbell.
