Turbo Golf Racing looks like golf mixed with Rocket League

Hugecalf Studios and publisher Secret Mode have revealed Turbo Golf Racing, a game that looks like it blends together golf with the zaniness of Rocket League’s car football. A beta will launch this spring with registrations now open and the game coming to Xbox and PC.

This boils down to giant golf with crazy cars as eight players compete to smash their ball across a course and into a finishing cup first. You’ll be flipping, gliding and dashing, trying to shove your ball through boost rings and past obstacles in order to win.

Here’s the breakdown from Hugecalf:

  • Race Your Rivals – Eight-player online multiplayer with matchmaking and cross-platform play between PC and Xbox platforms.
  • Outrageous Customisation – Scores of cosmetic options enable you to tune-up their vehicles with paint, wheels, spoiler, shield, chassis, and boosters fit for a champion.
  • Power Cores – Get the edge over your rivals by unlocking and equipping Power Cores, altering your car’s capabilities and unlock special abilities such as Roll and Ground Stomp.
  • Take To The Skies – Keep your wheels on land or launch off the fairway, activate your wings and glide to victory.
  • Upcoming Content – Regular free updates will bring new courses, new Power Cores and new cosmetics.

“Turbo Golf Racing is the game we’ve always dreamed of making,” says Jonny Hughes, Producer at Hugecalf Studios. “We’re incredibly proud of Turbo Golf Racing and our plans for its future, and cannot wait for players to experience it first-hand when the Beta launches this Spring.”

The beta will kick off this spring, which you can sign up for via the Turbo Golf Racing website, or on Xbox, by being a part of the Xbox Insider Program.

Turbo Golf Racing will launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One later this year, and will be in Xbox Game Pass as well.
