Saints Row fans should know that on April 20th that Volition will be hosting an ultimate customisation showcase for the upcoming reboot of the Saints Row franchise, and it looks like a lot will be covered. The times the show will kick off are 12PM PT, 8PM BST, and 9PM CEST. Going off the hashtag #BeYourOwnBoss this customisation showcase will more than likely spend a majority of its time focusing on how you can personalise the main character.
The new entry in the series will effectively wipe the slate clean from all of the game that have come before. Saints Row will take us to the completely new fictional city of Santo Ileso, a diverse and varied metropolis down in the American South West. There’s Route 66 nearby, there’s Monument Valley, and the city itself ranges from decrepit industrial regions though to a financial district and the playground of the rich and famous. Three rival gangs rule over all of this, but it’s about to become four, as you found the Saints.
Here are more details about each of the three districts in Saints Row.
- Rancho Provedencia – Los Panteros territory, home to the iconic old Scorpion factory where they work on their precious cars as well as other industries like the Panther Juice Hot Sauce factory.
- Lakeshore is controlled by Marshall, practically owned by it – an urban jungle of skyscrapers and businesses, marked by Marshall’s iconic HQ building – you can’t miss it on the skyline.
- Monte Vista is home to the rich and powerful – and also where the anarchist group The Idols hold their outrageous parties in gated homes, destroying rich people stuff is kind of their thing.
The Saints Row series reboot was delayed from its previously announced February 2022 launch to a new release date on 23rd August 2022. The game will still be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
