Euro Truck Simulator 2 is getting some new DLC in the form of an expansion that will add the West Balkans. Virtual truck drivers will be able to drive through several new countries in this DLC including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia. A trailer has been released that show some of the landmarks players will be able to spot.
SCS Software has confirmed that work on the West Balkans DLC began over a year ago. This was where some prototyping had happened with different locations in the autumn. The 3D models were then created over six months before the map designers could start putting that together, and placing those assets in the right place. A release date has not yet been confirmed for Euro Truck Simulator 2 West Balkans DLC.
