Superhero action RPG Superfuse will be heading into Early Access this autumn, it’s been announced by developer Stich Heads Entertainment and indie publisher Raw Fury.

If you love Diablo but wish that you could dress your character up in spandex, then Superfuse might just be the game for you. Set in a future where humanity has abandoned Earth and colonised the solar system, superheroes have emerged to defend mankind against the Corruption.
These are malevolent creatures that drove our species from Earth decades ago, and were thought contained on our home planet, but that’s not the case. So, the Gods – AKA self-invested billionaires that bankrolled our escape from Earth, presumably to save themselves in the process – have enlisted you to fight back.
Here’s a bit more on what you can expect from the game’s combat, loot and character customisation:
- Hyper customizable skill trees – Pick your class then apply ‘fuses’ to your powers to create an array of unique skills. Strategically reallocate and redesign your powers any number of times to counter powerful bosses based on their set-up for maximum effectiveness.
- Loot – Optimize your unique, perfect superhero with powerful weapons, hi-tech armour, and boosters. Collect hundreds of different types of loot with randomized stats to make your hero more powerful, or trade or sell it to earn credits for specific items.
- Play solo or co-op – Play the campaign solo offline, or build a superhero for online four-player PvE drop in/out co-op campaign modes. Mix and match your classes to create the perfect superteam.
- Procedurally generated as well as handcrafted levels – Never fight down the same path twice with levels that reshape themselves every time you play.
- Fully voiced, story-driven campaign – Player characters and NPC’s are brought to vivid life by the voice talents of actors including award-winning Eli Harris.
