HBO release a short clip of The Last of Us TV series

Last of Us Release Date

HBO’s adaption of Naughty Dog’s classic PlayStation game The Last Us will be coming to the small screen next year and we now have our first official teaser for the series. The tease was shown at the end of a promotional trailer which previewed many shows including House of Dragons, Succession, and The White Lotus, all of which had very brief clips with only The Last of Us getting a full thirty seconds of trailer. You can watch it below.

Actor Storm Reid was the most recent addition to the cast of of HBO’s The Last of Us and will be playing the character Riley Abel. The series will guest star Nico Parker (The Third Day) as Sarah, Joel’s 14-year old daughter, I wouldn’t give her much chance of surviving past the first ten minutes of episode one, along with Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) as Frank and Bill, the two friends of Joel who are met on the journey.

The Last of Us 2 Multiplayer – What We Know So Far

As the show won’t be airing his year those wanting a fix of the franchise can back to the start with the remake of Part 1.  Sony and Naughty Dog have debuted 10 minutes of The Last of Us Remake gameplay, sharing clips from various scenes and skirmishes ahead of the game’s September 2nd PS5 release date.

Side by side with footage of the original PS3 game – and even the remastered version on PS4 Pro – the differences are clear to see. The amount of detail in every character model and environment is phenomenal, Naughty Dog having had the freedom to chase their vision for TLOU without any technical restraints.

A new statue of Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us is now available to pre-order, inspired by the game’s original PS3 box art.

This latest piece of TLOU merch comes via Gaming Heads and will cost a fair bit. There are two versions available – standard and deluxe – with prices between $500 and $550 depending on whether you want additional weapons to equip the two post-apocalyptic survivors. It’s worth noting that there are only 1,000 of these statues up for grabs which will ship out to customers some time in early 2023.
