Niantic are partnering with Marvel to create a brand new AR mobile game with World of Heroes. The description for Marvel World of Heroes says, “In MARVEL World of Heroes, players can create their own unique Super Hero identity and origin story. Players will need to patrol their neighborhoods to foil crimes, complete Super Hero missions, and thwart interdimensional threats. As players level up, they will unlock equipment and abilities, and will team up with Marvel Super Heroes such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America and others to battle iconic Super Villains and save the Multiverse from cosmic and earthbound threats.”

Marvel World of Heroes will have a soft launch in limited territories to test out features with beta testers, however the FAQ does not state which areas the game will be available in first. If you are interested, you can sign up to receive updates about the game and when it will be available. It has been stated though that the game should be available globally in 2023.
