Kena: Bridge of Spirits 2.03 update has been released to address some issues that popped up after the Anniversary update was put out earlier this week. One of those fixes is allowing players to gather more than a hundred Rot in New Game plus, and also fixed some issues when resuming activities on PS5. You can read the full patch notes below.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits 2.03 update
- Fix for performance issues occurring after resuming an Activity on PS5.
- Fixed issues making it possible to collect more than 100 Rot when replaying the game in New Game+.
- Fixed a bug with the Shrine Guardian Combat Reflection Trial that prevented the bonus objective “Cleansing Strike” from being awarded.
- Crash fixes.
- Kena Outfit animation improvements and fixes.
- Fixed issue allowing the Woodknight to attack during spawn animation.
When the Anniversary update was released, New Game Plus was the main feature allowing players to go through the story again but this time with a more powerful Kena. On the flip side, going into New Game Plus means redesigned combat encounters which are tougher than the first time around. Spirit Guide Trials were also added which is a challenge mode which include obstacle courses and enemy encounters. Completing these challenges will net new outfits for Kena.
In our Kena: Bridge of Spirits review, Jim wrote, “Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a great palette cleanser, not just in terms of tone but the way it’s carefully designed. Well-paced and beautiful to behold with plenty to see and do, Ember Lab has well and truly captured the spirit of the 3D platformers many of us grew up adoring.”
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is available now on PS5, PS4, and PC.
