Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will reward people who complete the single player campaign with a bunch of skins and boosts to take into the game’s multiplayer and Special Ops modes. The game is coming out on 28th October, but you can pre-order for Campaign Early Access, which gives a head start on earning these unlocks.

Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Rewards

Of course, you don’t need to play early to earn these things. You’ll be able to earn them at any point after the game’s release, and they will be doled out as you complete the missions within the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Calling Card: “Soap’s Determination”
  • Emblem: “What’s Done Is Done”
  • 30 Minute Double XP Token
  • 30 Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Chainlinked”
  • Base Operator: Chuy
  • 30 Minute Double XP Token
  • 30 Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Gaz”
  • Base Operator: Nova
  • 1 Hour Double XP Token
  • 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Shadow Company Ops”
  • Base Operator: Reyes
  • 1 Hour Double XP Token
  • 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token
  • Base Operator: Hutch

Once you complete the full campaign, you’ll also be rewarded with the Union Guard Weapon Blueprint. This is an AR variant of Captain Price’s own gun, coming with four preset attachments: the Aim OP-V4 Reflex Optic, the SZ 1MW PEQ Laser, the FSS Covert V Silencer on the Muzzle, and the Lockgrip Precision-40 Underbarrel Vertical Grip.

This, Activision say, will be a good starting gun for people then making the hop into the multiplayer modes. It has better stability, reduced recoil and a clear sight compared to the base version of the same gun.

It’s a good way to incentivise playing the campaign and see it through to the end, as we’ve often seen that many multiplayer-centric franchises have low campaign completion rates. After all the effort that developers put it, it’s nice to see their work being played.
