Gotham Knights’ four player co-op mode Heroic Assault will be released on November 29th, Warner Bros has confirmed. The Heroic Assault mode for Gotham Knights will be a free update for owners of the game, and will allow up to four players to tackle the challenge. The mode is standalone and will not be linked to the main story campaign.

The description for Gotham Knights Heroic Assault says, “Heroic Assault is an upcoming gameplay mode that is separate from the main story campaign. The standalone mode supports up to four players in online co-op and provides a dedicated arena-like environment with specific objectives to complete and enemies to defeat on each floor (30 floors total).”

The Knights, Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood, will be facing off against some familiar faces including Harley Quinn, Clayface, Mr. Freeze and The Court of Owls. If you want more of taster of Gotham Knights then you can watch the first sixteen minutes of gameplay here after the game’s prologue which could likely feature the death of Batman. It was recently revealed that Gotham Knights is skipping last generation consoles. While it was originally announced with PS4 and Xbox One consoles in mind back in 2020, the game has faced a number of significant delays. It was originally expected for release in 2021. The developers have also confirmed that there will be no performance mode on consoles for Gotham Knights, and that the game will be locked at 30fps. The reason given for this was the open world and co-op features that are in the game.

Gotham Knights will be released on October 21st for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
