A brand new game mode is being added to Among Us today, 9th December, with Hide n Seek flipping the social deduction game on its head. The update is coming to all platforms.
Now, instead of the Imposter being a secretive, stealthy player, they’re an out and out hunter of the human players. Crewmates will have to outrun and outlive the Imposter while still trying to complete tasks and run out the clock.
Among Us was one of the indie hits of 2020, despite actually having released all the way back in 2018. The game was discovered by Twitch streamers, with its paranoia-infused multiplayer making for a lot of fun and plenty of cross-channel collaborations. It helps that the game’s really cheap, and is now available on pretty much every platform – there’s even a VR adaptation, which is pretty wild.
