From the open world design, to riding into battle on Torrent’s back, and the dark narrative woven through the world, this is a clear Game of the Year frontrunner that will have us all ensnared for a long time to come. ”
If you more of a physical person then GAME have a sale on as well and over there you can pick up Elden Ring for £39.99 on PlayStation 5.

The Jan sale started last week, they added more games to it yesterday but there’s no way to determine what exactly was added without trawling through the whole list again ..
.. although i probably have enough to be getting on with – from the Jan sale so far i already picked up Duke Nukem 20th anniv (retro fun) , Astroneer (looks like a decent timesink), WRC 9 (gosh, this looks great!) and Star Wars Battle Squadrons (for later when i reconnect my PSVR) plus a game that looks like Puyo/Puyo but plays like Breakout (can’t remember what it’s called now),
Plus i got Horizon Forbidden West for xmas and on top of that i re-installed Witcher 3 and grabbed the new PS5 upgrade so i’ve started a new playthrough of that too!
So if anyone figures out what the new games in the sale are … maybe don’t tell me after all xD

No, the “January” sale started on the 21st of December. The PS blog seems to avoid the word “January” and calls it the “Holiday Sale”. But the store refers to it as the January sale. Even though it started before christmas.
And as always, something like https://psprices.com/region-gb/discounts/?sort=date is your friend here. If by “friend” you mean “someone who wants you to get a whole bunch of stuff when there’s already enough to be getting on with and PSVR2 is coming in just a few weeks anyway”.
I didn’t look too closely either.
