Resident Evil 4 Charms Guide – How to get them all for your attaché case

RE4 gacha attache case charm

Resident Evil 4 remake lets you attach unlockable charms the game’s iconic attaché case inventory, but what do they do? And how can you collect them all?

What are Resident Evil 4 charms?

Beyond just being kind of cute and fun, charms in Resident Evil 4 remake are basically character power ups and buffs. Up to three can be applied to the attaché case, each one giving a percentage boost to everything from ammo crafting to health recovery and making you run a bit faster.

There are 30 to collect in the game.

How do you get charms in Resident Evil 4?

Once you’ve unlocked the shooting gallery several chapters into the main campaign, you’ll be able to earn silver or gold tokens by completing various skill tests with different weapons – you can also trade 3 spinels with the Merchant for gold tokens later in the game. These tokens can be used in the gacha machine in the gallery to unlock unique charms.

It’s entirely randomised with the gacha machine, and it will take multiple playthroughs of Resident Evil 4 to get enough spins to earn them all. If you do get any duplicates, you can sell them at the Merchant for cash, at least….

How to add charms to the attaché case

You can’t just apply charms at any old time you like, you need to get to a save point typewriter. There you can add or remove charms to the attaché case, which can tweak your buffs for the challenges coming ahead.
