The opening showcase from Summer Game Fest 2023 has been and gone, with the Geoff Keighley led trailer and announcement bonanza really capturing some of those classic E3 vibes. No there weren’t any awkward live gameplay segments, but there were plenty of people coming on stage and a good mixture of games both big and small.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has a brand new trailer and Early 2024 release window

The PS5 exclusive sequel to the blockbusting Final Fantasy VII Remake got a big new trailer. There’s quite a few changes to the story that you might expect, which will surely have people puzzling over what Square Enix are up to right up to its release in early 2024.
